LESCO Bill Calculator
A LESCO home using 300 units a month as an unprotected consumer on a 1 kW connection pays about Rs 13,458, of which Rs 9,930 is the energy charge at Rs 33.1 per unit and the rest is fixed charge, FC surcharge, QTA and GST. LESCO bill = units × slab rate + fixed charge + surcharges + GST.
How this result was calculated
300 units × Rs 33.1 (unprotected slab rate) = Rs 9,930. Fixed charge 1 kW = Rs 350. FC surcharge Rs 969 + QTA Rs 156 + FPA Rs 0. Subtotal Rs 11,405 + GST 18% (Rs 2,053) = Rs 13,458.
Key facts
- LESCO charges the NEPRA uniform A-1 domestic tariff for 2026, so a LESCO bill for a given number of units is the same as any other DISCO's; only the monthly FPA line differs.
- The LESCO per unit rate for an unprotected home using 300 units is Rs 33.1 on every unit, which gives Rs 9,930 before the fixed charge, surcharges and GST.
- LESCO protected units: a home stays protected only while every one of its last 6 bills is at or under 200 units; protected bills are worked out slab-wise at much lower rates.
- GST at 18% is charged on energy, fixed charge and surcharges together, adding Rs 2,053 to a 300 unit LESCO bill; the surcharge and GST values are secondary-source figures that change monthly.
Formula
Bill = units × slab rate + fixed Rs/kW × sanctioned kW + (FC + QTA + FPA) × units, then + GST
- slab rate = rate of the band the month's units reach (unprotected) or slab-wise (protected)
- fixed = Rs per kW of the band reached × sanctioned kW
- FC, QTA, FPA = per-unit surcharges printed on the bill
- GST = percentage of the subtotal
What is the LESCO per unit rate in 2026?
LESCO, the Lahore Electric Supply Company, does not set its own rates. It bills the uniform A-1 domestic tariff that NEPRA determined and the Government notified for 2026, the same slabs as every other DISCO. For an unprotected home the rate of the slab the month's units reach applies to every unit: 300 units are all billed at Rs 33.1, the top slab is the most expensive, and the first hundred units are the cheapest.
The worked examples below print the rate for the protected, the three-hundred-unit, the five-hundred-unit and the lifeline cases, and the table lists the rate for each slab. Add the FPA from your bill for the month's exact figure.
What are LESCO protected units?
LESCO marks a domestic consumer as protected when all of the last 6 bills were at or under 200 units and the connection is below 5 kW. Protected bills use two low slabs and are billed slab-wise, with the first hundred units at the first rate and the rest at the second.
A single month above 200 units, including one stretched by a long reading cycle, moves the home to unprotected rates for every unit. Tick the protected box only when the bill itself says protected.
LESCO bill check: estimate here, confirm on the LESCO site
This page is a LESCO bill estimate from your units. The official bill, with the reference number, due date, arrears and the exact FPA, is on the LESCO website; use it to pay and to see the printed lines. Use this calculator to understand what each line should be, to plan next month's bill, or to check a bill that looks too high against the slab it should fall in.

Worked examples
200 units, LESCO protected consumer
Energy charge Rs 2,355 slab-wise at protected rates, fixed charge Rs 300 for 1 kW, FC surcharge Rs 646, QTA Rs 104, GST Rs 613. Estimated LESCO bill Rs 4,018.
300 units, unprotected
300 × Rs 33.1 = Rs 9,930, fixed charge Rs 350, FC surcharge Rs 969, QTA Rs 156, GST Rs 2,053. Estimated LESCO bill Rs 13,458.
500 units with an AC, 2 kW connection
500 × Rs 38.95 = Rs 19,475, fixed charge Rs 1,000 for 2 kW, FC surcharge Rs 1,615, QTA Rs 260, GST Rs 4,023. Estimated LESCO bill Rs 26,373.
90 units, lifeline consumer
90 units at the lifeline rate of Rs 7.74 = Rs 697, no fixed charge and no QTA. With the FC surcharge and GST fields blank the estimate assumes neither applies to lifeline bills (still being verified): Rs 697.

Common mistakes
- Looking for a separate LESCO tariff. LESCO bills the uniform NEPRA domestic tariff; the slab rates are the same across Pakistan.
- Assuming last month's protected status still holds. One bill over 200 units moves you to unprotected rates for every unit.
- Leaving the FPA blank when the bill shows one. The fuel adjustment line can swing the total either way; copy it into the advanced field.
- Dividing the total bill by units to get a per unit rate. The fixed charge, surcharges and GST are mixed in; the slab rate is the energy charge divided by units.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get a LESCO bill estimate from my units?
Enter the units and the sanctioned load from your bill, tick protected only if the bill says so, and the estimate shows energy, fixed charge, FC surcharge, QTA and GST. For 300 units the estimate is Rs 13,458.
What is the LESCO per unit price?
It is the NEPRA domestic slab rate for the slab your month reaches. An unprotected home using 300 units pays Rs 33.1 per unit; the table above gives the rate for each slab, and protected homes pay far less.
Is the LESCO unit price the same as other DISCOs?
Yes. The 2026 tariff is uniform for all ex-WAPDA DISCOs and K-Electric. The only line that differs from one DISCO to another is the monthly FPA.
What is the LESCO tariff for 2026?
The uniform A-1 domestic tariff notified as SRO 279(I)/2026: lifeline slabs up to one hundred units, protected slabs up to 200 units and unprotected slabs of a hundred units each up to seven hundred, then an open-ended top slab; connections of 5 kW and above are billed on ToU rates.
How do I check my LESCO bill online?
The official LESCO bill check is on the LESCO website, where the reference number on your bill brings up the current bill and payment status. This calculator estimates the bill from units; it does not fetch your bill.
How many units keep a LESCO consumer protected?
At or under 200 units in every one of the last 6 months, on a connection below 5 kW. Cross the limit once and the next bills are unprotected until six months under the limit have passed again.
