Editorial Policy
Wattlyst publishes a page only when its calculator works, its numbers come from the tested engine and a person has checked the text for accuracy and usefulness. This page explains how we write, review, update and correct content.
How pages are made
- Each page answers one real question and has a working tool or original worked examples. We do not publish pages that exist only to rank for a keyword.
- Numbers in the text, worked examples, tables and FAQ answers are generated by the calculation engine, not typed by hand.
- Sources are linked on the page: NEPRA and DISCO notifications, Global Solar Atlas, IEC standards and manufacturer datasheets.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help draft and code. Every page is reviewed by a person for accuracy and usefulness before it is published, and every formula is covered by automated tests. AI is never used to invent data, reviews or credentials.
Review and updates
Each page shows its author and the date it was last reviewed. Data that changes, such as tariffs and prices, is re-checked at least monthly.
Technical review by a PEC-registered electrical engineer is in progress. Until it is complete, no page claims an engineer sign-off.
Corrections
If you find an error, email contact@wattlyst.com with the page link. Confirmed errors are corrected on every page that uses the same formula or data, and the page's review date is updated.
Independence and advertising
Calculators do not favour any brand. If we ever add affiliate or sponsored links, they will be labelled on the page. Advertising, when shown, is kept away from calculator inputs and buttons and is always labelled "Advertisement".
